Positive Vitality Homemade Vegetable Pickles are
Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Vegan
Ingredients:
Beetroot or carrot or cucumber or any other veg you want to pickle (u will need approximately 3 beetroot or 5 carrots or 2 long cucumbers for 700 ml of brine)
Filtered water 500 ml
White vine vinegar 200 ml
Black mustard seeds x 1 Tbs
White mustard seeds x 1 Tbs
Black pepper x 1 Tbs
Brown sugar x 3 Tbs
Himalayan salt 1 Tbs
Preparation:
Wash veggies and slice them tin sliced preferable on mandoline
Place the slices in a glass jars
Prepare the brine by heating up the water and dissolving sugar, salt and spices in it
Our the brine over the vegetables in a jar
Store in a cool dark place or in a fridge
They should be ready to eat after few days
